The Cause

Proceeds from this race will benefit the construction of the John E. Wengert Memorial Park. This park will boast health and fitness opportunities, a link to the Rail-Trail and environmental educational opportunities right in Downtown Lebanon. Over the last three years we have donated over $12,000 to the development of the park!

Proceeds will also benefit the Lebanon Valley Conservancy and the Community Health Council of Lebanon Valley.

The Lebanon Valley Conservancy was formed in 2000 by a group of dedicated individuals representing various conservation organizations and groups that actively protect natural habitats, historical resources and farmland in Lebanon County. In cooperation with neighboring conservancies and trusts as well as local and state governments, the Lebanon Valley Conservancy seeks to protect cultural, historical and natural resources.

The Community Health Council of Lebanon County is a coalition of individuals and organizations working together to encourage and support a safe, healthy, and substance-free community for every individual with a focus on youth.

All of these organizations are dedicated to creating urban green spaces in our community.
