Important Racer Information

Hello!  And thank you for registering for the 2nd annual Tower to Town race in Lebanon, PA! We look forward to seeing you this coming Sunday, October 6th.

We have a number of pre-race instructions to share with you.  Please be sure to share this email with friend who may not have registered yet.  We do allow race day registration (cash or check only).

The race begins at 9:30am at the Clarence Schock Memorial Park Nature Center.  This is also known as Governor Dick Park. The address for the nature center is 3283 Pinch Road, Manheim, PA 17545.  Depending on your GPS (mapping) app, this address can be problematic.  If you’re not taking the bus, please be familiar with where the Nature Center and park are before Sunday.

Registration opens at 8:00am at the Nature Center.  The ONLY item at registration are the BIB NUMBERS.  Swag bags, t-shirts and your commemorative plant will be handed out AFTER the race at the Finish Line.  You can not get your swag bag until you finish the race.

Please be familiar with the course.  We are using pink survey flags, directional arrows and course marshals to prevent anyone from going off-course; but we recommend you review the route anyway:

There are three water stations on the course.  The race takes place rain or shine.

We are providing transportation to the Start line from the Finish line on the morning of the race.  We have lined up THREE BUSES.  One leaving at 7:50am, 8:15am and one leaving at 8:45am.  Please do not be late.

The finish line is at the Optimist Park in Lebanon, PA  also called Louser Memorial Park(1400 Elder St, Lebanon, PA 17042).  Please plan ample time to get there, find the park and park your car.

You are not required to take a bus.  Please feel free to carpool with relay racers or be dropped off.

Both racers must register and get their bib at the Start.  You will also receive a team braclet that will be traded at the relay point.  Please make sure you have matching numbers and a bracelet.  Both teammates should drive to the start, then racer #2 should take the car to the relay point and racer #1 can drive it to the finish.

The relay point is at Rt. 419 and Boyd Streets in Cornwall, PA.  You can see the Root Beer Barrel and the parking lot from the Cornwall Post Office, located at 7 Boyd St, Cornwall, PA 17016 (if you need an address).

We’ve got a really great race and after party planned, including music, pizza, fresh apple cider and more.  Contact the race director with any questions:

Happy trails!
